Golden Triangle Gems
The Golden triangle is a journey representing the true essence of Indian culture, heritage and architecture. Starting of in New Delhi you visit the old and new parts starting in the central Connaught Place and moving onto the India Gate and Rajghat - the memorial gardens to Mahatma Gandhi. This is simple black marble foundation which locates the point which Gandhi was cremated on 31 January 1948.
It is now a customary tradition for foreign dignitaries that are visiting India to pay their respects to Gandhi. Your Delhi visit also includes visits to the famous Moghul empire buildings including the Humayuns tomb and the Qutab Minar.

The pinnacle of this trip comes with a visit to the Taj Mahal, a must see on every visitors itinerary. The Taj Mahal was developed under Mughal Emperor ShahJahan in the memory of his most favorite wife - Mumtaz Mahal. It is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture - an integration of elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic styles, and as of 1993 awarded the prestige as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This journey also takes you to the Pink city of Japipur, which is the capital of Rajasthan. Infamous for its bustling markets and bazaars, the city was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II as the new capital of Kachwaha dynasty in 1727 and has maintained its dominance as a heart for culture, trade and architecture.
This Golden Triangle trip is a true blend of the best highlights and sights in Northern India.
